Hope

Hello! Today is the 17th of March and that brings a reminder for YOU to do a self breast exam. This blog hop has caught lumps.. so please be sure to complete it. This is a great monthly reminder! Cas-ual Fridays Stamp products used:

Full on Floral

Hope Fri-die

1. To start the card I embossed in gold the Full on Floral stamp.

2. I then took a blending tool and covered the entire background.

3. From the Be stamp set, I took the butterflies and embossed those gold. I lightly blended some ink on those as well.

4. For the hope die, I heat embossed a patch of gold and then die cut from that heat embossed area.

5. I took a piece of ribbon and decided diagonal placement for the hope and butterflies.

6. After placing the hope I took the butterflies and lightly with a pen rounded the wings to make them lift off the card.

My card this month is super simple, but super meaningful. You see, a former co-worker of mine was a 2 time breast cancer survivor.. first round dating back 20 years. This past Christmas she got some devastating news. She had fallen and found out through that fall she had cancer in her body... again. This card is more than just a card.. it's a card to remind her that she is loved and so many are praying for her. So no matter what is going on in your life.. just remember to Be Brave. ~With Love From Your Sistah

Here is the card I created for this month. I was wanting to do a different, but simple kind of card and I had done a collar fold card in the past and it turned out cute. So this style is a collar fold card.

I used Dream Then Do stamp set for my card.
